If you can afford it, and want quick-to-fix freeze dried meals, our Three Month Food Supply for Four Persons might be the way to go. Mountain House freeze dried foods can store for 25 years. They're quick to fix (usually, just add boiling water) and come in a wide variety of entrees.

(While we're on the subject of Food Preparation, much has been made--by a competitor--of how much more energy is needed to prepare Dehydrated Foods as compared to Freeze Dried Foods. The TRUTH is that many Freeze Dried Foods need more cooking than just adding boiling water. Try them yourself. All items in a mix don't cook in the same amount of time and you'll have to boil the whole mix longer. Preparation time for Dehydrated Foods can be greatly reduced by a little planning ahead. Soak the vegetables or legumes overnight in water and they're ready for cooking the next day. A little planning will save you from 1/2 to 2/3 the cost over buying freeze dried foods. Are we trying to talk you out of buying freeze dried? Nope. We sell freeze dried foods ourselves. Just trying to help you make your dollar go farther....)

The cannery will NO LONGER accept ANY changes to your order. If you forgot something, you MUST put in a NEW order for the items you want. You cannot change an order anymore.

We will let you cancel an order within ONE WEEK at no charge. After that, there will be a 10% order cancellation charge. No exceptions.

This emergency food supply unit will feed a family of four for 3 months, or a couple for 6 months, or an individual for a year and provide a calorie count of over 2,000 calories per day. It consists of 168 #10 cans (almost a gallon in size) that are packed in 28 cases to make storage easy.

Each can comes with a lid. (We recommend buying a dozen or so extra lids to allow for breakage.) If you drink coffee, the coffee can lids will fit. The large size is a #10.
