Revised Feb. 14, 2009

For years we've been asked if we could supply canned bacon. It used to be available under the Celebrity label, and could be found in specialty shops (imported from Europe). But demand wasn't high enough to justify keeping it in production.
That's changed with those interested in having storable foods on hand . . . and we can now offer it!
Real Canned Bacon (12 - 9 oz cans/case) Can 10.85 Case 122.90
Our canned bacon is completely cooked and can be eaten right out of the can (if you have to) or can be reheated in a toaster oven, a microwave, or in a skillet on the stove for the crispy crunch you love.
The bacon is placed on (food grade) paper sheets, folded in half, and rolled up to fit in the can. There are

from 30 to 40 strips of bacon per can (anyone who tells you there are 40-50 per can can't count!).
Be prepared for the coming food shortage.
Packaging this way is very labor-intensive, and that drives up the price. (But, when you consider that one can = 3 pounds of uncooked bacon, and the amount of energy you save by not having to fully cook this bacon, the price isn't unreasonable.)
FYI, a 9 oz can of our bacon is equal to 3 lbs of store-bought bacon. Check your grocery-store price and factor in energy costs to cook your store-bought bacon. I think you'll find our price to be very reasonable.
