Thanks for your newsletter. I learned of your company through
Dr. David Williams' publication, Alternatives. I must say I was pleasantly
surprised when he recognized the media hype about the swine flu. Usually,
when one reads alternative med publications, one finds no such common sense
& insight.
I shall continue to look over your website & place an
order soon. I notice that you have canned cheese. I know this will
be on my list as I can't live without my cheese regardless of what crackdowns
happen.

My husband tells me that our former
governor, "Huck" as we call him, had--on his television program--DOCTORS from Canada, a couple of
countries in Europe were telling him on BROADCAST TELEVISION about healthcare in those
nations.
The doctor from Canada had the most
to say apparently. He was telling Americans that we better
get ready if we
get nationalized/socialized medicine in our nation.
Acute care (cancer patients, etc.)
have an average waiting time of 6 months. I have worked in hospitals (not
nursing) since 1989 and I can tell you what I'm seeing now is not
good.
Doctors are pissed off, and worried
that Obama is going to ruin it for everyone.

Thanks, Paul. We recently started having triple-walled boxes--with specially-cushioned dividers--custom made for us (at great expense, BTW) to try to get UPS-caused denting eliminated. So far, it's working! (I'm sure UPS will eventually find a way to dent our cans again <sigh>.)

your site. But I took some time, and looked around, and am amazed at
what I found.
I have been very pleased with what I have ordered from you, (cheese,
butter and canned meats). No problems, actually going to put another

for those of us that are serious about surviving in these times to
come.
If anyone is serious about preparedness, then political views should be
put aside. I wonder if anyone from those older comments have changed
their political minds. I have a brother-in-law who sure has. You

I have a friend I was talking to about your products. And they are

Here's the kicker. They don't have access to internet (Even I just
moved from in the city with 24/7 internet out to the wilderness, town is
over an hour away, and have limited internet out here) so how to do I
get a pricelist and a list of all that you carry for them? And for me!
lol.
Even if it's just a list with possible prices, so we can call for the
definitive price, would be great to get for us to share.

I must apologize to you and your company
for ordering from Emergency Essentials this past month. First of all,
it cost more! Even though they have a silent policy that states they
will match any costs from other companies. They don't tell you that
until you call and complain. Secondly, they shipped the wrong package.
The mistake was a whooping $1329.95 plus error on their part because
they sent the wrong stuff. When I called to let them know and ask that
they correct the error, they informed me they had not made a mistake.
Second phone call and someone finally listened. Thirdly, they forgot to
charge us for the ordered package and became irate when I also pointed
out that boo-boo.
So, being a concerned and frugal shopper who
momentarily lost her mind, after they became defensive, accusing us of
all the bad things that would have befallen us had we not been honest!!
I promised him I would let all the Sisters in my Ward and others know
how their business was, as compared to the others that were--in fact--great places to order from!!
I do apologize! And, I will be placing an order this weekend!!

Dear Bruce,
I have been looking at garden catalogs and have
found other victory garden sites. One has just about the same seeds as
you, but it comes in a plastic bucket and costs $80.00. The other has 50 seeds,
comes in a paint can and costs 4 times as much as your seeds. I have
already ordered seeds for planting for this season, but am interested in keeping
a victory garden in a can idea for when (we know if is a definite). In
your newsletter you, or your wife, made the important comment about learning and
growing now, so [we] know what to do. I am still looking into the packaged
deal of non-hybrid seeds but am wondering if your seeds were harvested this last
summer/fall or are they from 2007? Please let me know as I am interested
in saving money.
I came to your site looking for canned butter and
cheese, but found so much more. We as a family had the income of the
equivalent "crop failure" and therefore haven't bought extra food for the
future. God in His goodness kept us afloat for an entire year with the
help of our son and very frugal living. Having a storage program isn't
just for the failure of the government nor for food being held hostage to
control the masses (you and me), but it's also for when a person is out of work or
having problems like we had. By the grace of God (and the rewards of
tithing) we are moving into a place where I hope to start buying, little by

Hi,
I bought some cans [of meat] a while back, before the storm, and I got to tell
you that it was great. While our friends were eating MRE's we had
wonderful stew, chicken, turkey, pork meals.
I am getting ready to restock us ... We will be contacting you soon to begin ordering for our
restocking, plus I will be ordering the DVD's on food storage. He is
right, the "recipe" books and old-timers do not have all the info I
need, even the internet seems to fall short when it comes to meat.

[In response to our October newsletter] I find it absolutely amazing that it takes a "grocer" to put out the
word like this. When I was a younger man, I would leave school at
lunch time to go to the hardware store. There, without ID, or a
special permit, I would buy a box of .22 long rifle cartridges for
rabbit and squirrel hunting. Extra meat. I listened to the elders
around the stove or on the bench outside sometimes. I guess things
like that are what helps set a mans life in certain paths.
I would take that box and (if I remembered) put it in my locker and go
ahead to class. No worries, No dogs, no calling the law. Try that
nowadays and you'll be in jail, or under it, for a very long time.
You folks are like the old pot belly stove crowd. You get the news
out, remind us where we came from, and look at where we might be
headed. All the while conducting business at a fair and equitable
price. PLEASE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN.
Feel free to use my story as whatever you wish, just delete my info, so
"they" do not kick in my door too early. My wife likes to sleep in
nowadays.
In America (the Republic) you have inalienable rights which are GOD GIVEN and cannot be taken away unless you surrender them. In America (the democracy), you have privileges granted by the government which can be taken away at the behest of any bureaucrat or "the majority". Think about this when you next go to VOTE. Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble, most businesses are suffering right now. My husband is a teacher in Saint Augustine,
Florida, and over 144 teachers got let go, despite the fact that the county
keeps growing and building schools. He has taught for 29 years and we spent most
of the summer just waiting to find out if he would have a job this
year. Salaries have been frozen too. .... I do
thank you for your boldness in confronting issues about government food

afraid far too many people won't be prepared when what the Bible says
is gonna happen, happens. Have you heard of all that internet
information on Obama that says he is Muslim and all his connections with
militant Islamic family. That's kinda scary. I have never seen

running for president ever before. It's like America has gone
blind. You are a source of information that is desperately

Thanks for the update. I've been following the Mountain House story as well. There has been speculation about either a financial crash in the Fall or another war conflict. Either way, we will be involved in some problem somewhere in the world. Without oil, we can neither grow food nor transport it. We've gutted
the family farm -- although we still have some here in my state and I gratefully shop with them for the excellent produce, meats and eggs -- and we've destroyed our railroad system. What a mess our beautiful country is facing.
Supplies delivered to grocery stores are done on the JIT [just in time] system. If everyone today were to go to their grocer and stock up, the shelves would quickly empty out. Supplies are dependent upon trucks and the fuel they need to get the stuff from the warehouse to the stores.
I, too, was questioning who was buying all the #10 cans from Mountain House and why now? Why would Mountain House cut off supplies to its dealers? How will their dealers be able to make a living? Where is this food going to? Will it be used to feed the military, the Government (and their families), or will we send this food to countries that are in danger of starvation? How about the needs of Americans? Will this food be distributed to them like surplus cheese during times of short supply to stave off their
starvation? Let's hope no one forgets Mr. and Mrs. America and their children.

In response to your question about why Americans are stocking up on emergency food, here's my thinking:
1) We learned from Hurricane Katrina that we cannot rely on the duly elected and appointed officials whose job it is to provide emergency services. If there is a major disaster, they are unprepared.
2) Despite the fact that our political leaders deny it, we are caught up in a major Recession and in a tailspin toward a Depression that will make the so call Great Depression of the 1930's look like a cakewalk.
3) The world of Islam has declared war on the West, notably the United States. Any day, any place, we could be bombed, attacked, or isolated by a band of radical Jihadists who infiltrated our community and simply waited for a good opportunity.
4) The greed of the oil companies, triggered by OPEC's blackmail of the West (see number 3 above) threatens to destroy the economy and price basic necessities beyond the pocketbook of ordinary Americans.
5) Most Americans live in cities and towns, no more than a paycheck or two away from starvation, eviction, and homelessness.
6) America is bankrupt from an endless foreign war, the loss of jobs and paychecks at home, our reliance on imported products, and our addiction to petroleum products. A dollar saved last year is worth about 50 cents today. Far smarter to invest in food, medicine, and other survival products that will actually gain value. You can't eat a dollar in the bank, especially if the bank has been shut down.
7) Our political system is collapsing under a smothering layer of corruption, greed, and self-interest. The people we elected to look after our interests are taking care of themselves and their cohorts, and are ignoring the needs of everyday Americans. Witness our displeasure with the Chief Executive (71% disapproval rating), and the way our needs and desires - repeatedly expressed - have been ignored by our rulers; think Illegal Immigration, Health Care, Homelessness, Ending the War, Unemployment;
Outsourcing; Tax Breaks for the Rich; Education; Eroding Infrastructure, to name just a few.
8) This year's presidential election promises no relief. I have never heard Americans as frustrated and fatalistic about an election as they are this year. The common complaint is that none of the candidates know what needs to be done, nor can be trusted to do it if they do get elected.
As individuals, we are powerless to reverse these powerful forces. Even our votes at the ballot box are unlikely to change things. The only thing we can do is, at a personal level, be as prepared as we can. So we stock up.

I'm with you on everything, Norm, except for "the greed of the oil companies". If you're referring to American oil companies, they net only about 8% profit which is below what most businesses net. I think it's the oil speculators, environmentalists and the countries that hate our way of life who are causing the price of oil to be so high.
But, all these things you bring up have been around for a long time... Why the sudden, dramatic, increase in storable food purchases??

Thanks! We LOVE the DE! IT works great! We have over 100
animals here and since we started using it, no more worms, even
the dogs (who eat the pigs droppings, yuck, but that's what dogs
do!)
The flies were not a problem for us either, maybe due to the DE
in the feces? I don't know but we mixed it in the hay last
winter and the pig's didn't get bit up by mites and bugs who like
to live in their hay. This year, we ran out and the pig's have
bites again from the bugs. We won't let that happen again!
We've told lots of other people about it, so maybe
you're getting some new customers! Thanks!

I lost your URL last year while my wife was fighting cancer. Now I am

Hi, I recently purchased an Aqua Rain Water Filter
from you, and wanted to follow up, I received it very quickly and it
has been up and working wonderfully!
I cannot believe the difference in the taste of the water!
I have previously used the Brita water filter pitchers and certainly have not been getting the best water in comparison.
We currently use only 2 of the filters and it makes
plenty of water for the both of us in a reasonable amount of time, I am
telling everyone they need to buy one of these!
It gives me great peace of mind to know we could
walk down to the lake to refill our water if something happens and our
community water source no longer is working...

Bruce & Phyllis - I am today placing another order for a mixed case of canned meats - and
more cheese! All the products I have tried are as you have described
them. By the way, I have not found the solid fat in my ground beef -
just some liquid. And that's great for a low fat dieter like
me! But, in no way is the can all liquid and no meat. It is a
full can of meat but just enough liquid to add my taco seasonings [for
example] and simmer in the spices. It does taste like roast beef.
The canned meats are excellent! [Phyllis, have you considered authoring a
cookbook on "cooking with food storage?" :)
The cheese grates and slices and dices! And I can't seem to leave it
alone. [sigh] There will be no "storage" of this until I can afford
to buy a couple of cases. I love making grilled cheese sandwiches with my
freshly made wheat bread [and the Red Feather butter].
Thanks for your always wonderful service. I just wanted to tell you
how happy I am with your products and to say I have found all of them to be as
you describe them! No surprises [unless it was better than I expected] and

butter. Attempting to build my food storage as money permits, I wanted so
much to find how to add butter and cheese. The powdered stuff - well it

Even with the holiday & week-end , it got here in 5 days. I'm
sharing with several friends, so we will see what they think of the
butter. It says on the can to refrig after opening, my understanding
was it can be left on the shelf, so I will be anxious to see how long
it lasts on the shelf. There is a need to be prepared for the time
when we won't have electricity or water or gas in our homes. It would
be wise for all people to get supplies ready for that time.

manufacturer's recommendation regarding refrigerating the butter,
we have never done so.
Even before finding and using our canned butter, we left stick
butter out on the counter. We do the same with the canned butter.
In our experience, we're still alive and healthy.
We're NOT recommending that YOU not refrigerate the canned butter.
All we're telling you is what OUR experience has been.

Just wanted to tell you how impressed and pleased I am with your

I've had your site bookmarked for quite a while, and had seen others
mention on the internet how pleased they were with your company, but
until this week had never done business with y'all.
I'd heard of your products, and was especially interested in the canned
butter you offered, and was quite disappointed several months ago when
I finally was in a position to buy a case of it, only to find it was
unavailable at that time. I kept checking back and when I saw you had
it again (and with a discount to boot!), I ordered a case.
Even though Quinlan isn't all that far from where we live, I did NOT
expect to receive my order the day after I placed it! That's terrific
customer service! I've ordered several "in-stock" items from other
companies a similar distance to where we live, and sometimes it's taken
a week or better before I've received them.
I'd noticed the blurb on your site regarding cans sometimes being
dented while in transit, and when I found the UPS man had not opened
our gate (which was unlocked specifically so he could access
our driveway), but had instead just thrown the box over the gate
(GRRRRR!!), I was anticipating a few dents and dings. I inspected the
entire case and due to your careful packing, not a single can was
damaged in any way! Outstanding!
Growing up in a family that had a small business, and having a small
business myself, I'm acutely aware of what it takes to provide
exceptional service. Thank you for being head and shoulders above the

Just a word on my first taste of your products."Outstanding"!!!
I jumped in
with both feet and ordered 5 cases of your meats,cheese,and butter. I have to
say the flavors of the roast pork,beef,and hamburger have far exceeded my
expectations. These are far and away the best tasting canned meats I've had the
pleasure of using! These put to shame some of the canned goods I've used in the
past.
The broth included just makes the package complete,because now I don't
even need to supply the water for preparation. Thus making it possible to
stretch my water stores. Dehydrated requires extra water and MRE's have some
additive that doesn't quite suit my tastes.
I've yet to try the butter and
cheese,but I'm certain they'll be just as tasty. Is there any possibility of
finding a canned bread supplier? This would certainly round out an already sound
menu of products. Thank you for offering a fine line of products in these
uncertain times.
Also, I raised hogs for 37 years and your pork was as good
as anything I processed in that time, with no hint of boar meat in the mix.

We received our canned cheese and butter order (which I split with my
daughter and her family) I brought the butter to work along with
wholewheat toasts for people to try before we are in a power outage
situation. Only 1 person who tried it didn't care for it. Many of my
coworkers are interested after trying your butter, and I posted your
website, and fax number. Florida is apparently due to 'board the
hurricane train' again this summer...and the wise ones are starting to
stock up on supplies now.

Dear folks:
I'm sure many of my friends laugh at me behind my back for being a "nervous ninny" about emergency preparedness, but 18 months worth of food is still 18 months worth of food and we rotate so that the stores don't go bad. Bulk food is cheaper and I have never been sorry that I had emergency money, first aid items, warmers, blankets, food, and lighting on hand.
I enjoy reading your website. I wish we didn't live in such times, but we do. I'm Christian and I feel I need to prepare myself and my child for disaster, both physically and spiritually. I'm relieved to see evidence that I am not alone. It's surprising how many people are " coming out of the closet" regarding faith. I am sure this may be one of the strangest e-mails you have received, as you are into " survival" foods...and what I am about to ask seems rather counter-productive to survival.. (his Mother and I have had to come to terms with that!!)
...but... one of our sons, who is an accomplished parachutist with over 1000 jumps, has also taken up the Extreme Sport of BASE Jumping.
He went last year to Norway. He and a friend are going again in July, as this area in Norway has some 3000 foot cliffs to jump off of.
.. It is in a remote area with very limited food services available. Near the bottom of the cliffs where they jump is a " Tourist Camp" which has bunk-houses with cooking facilities. Also, adjacent is a small cafe, but everything must be brought in by boat so it is quite expensive to eat there for 2 weeks, and with the current exchange rate of the American dollar in Europe, it is even very expensive for them to try to buy food in Stavanger,
Norway (the ferry landing to get to the cliffs) before they board the ferry to the " drop zone" .
I have done a good bit of Internet research and you seem to be the best for basic knowledge, honesty, quality and price....soooo can you help me??....
I am not familiar with, (nor have I tried) dehydrated foods, but it seems this would be a good choice for my son and his buddy to explore....

The new Schnitzer mill sounds great! I haven't used anything but fresh ground flour since I got my mill from you, what, about two years ago now? It's interesting, too, because I'm hypoglycemic and insulin resistant but while refined sugar and flour makes my blood sugar go nuts, fresh ground flour (and fresh fruit and veggies) doesn't bother me at all!
By the way, do you carry the set of extra cutting drums for the vegetable processor? [Yes, we do!] I saw them listed on the Family Grain Mill info page but didn't see them on the order form and was going to email and ask before I placed the order ... and forgot. Duhhh! If you do have them, could you please add them to my order?

I just stumbled onto your website after Googling on the subject of dehydrated and bulk foods. Wow! I have to tell you guys: you rock!
I've always adored food. My family has a very keen interest in diet and quality. At times, like everyone, I have fallen into misconception, but never have I, or has my family. been as freakishly adverse to common sense as our nation seems to have become (if you believe the popular press). I would feel angry at Atkins if it weren't so much fun watching silly people do ridiculous things. Food takes us to the most ecstatic heights and turns us into
the smallest of children. It truly is the sacrament given us three times daily.
A word about your amazing website. Where did you guys come from?! It is so unusual to hear common sense from a retailer, and I have spent so much time among the ignorant and greedy, I had almost forgotten that people who have jobs could be so kind to the world as you seem to be. I know you are running a business, but I also know what the supposed cost of living is here in Bloomington, and what a huge percentage of that cost lies in the heads (I
hope) and supposedly free will of my fellow citizens. Common sense! Thank you.
The only other source of information equivalent to your FAQ on MSG, was through Jeffery Steingarten in the book It Must Have Been Something I Ate My guess is that most people who read his original article (I did not) in the New Yorker, felt he was joking, etc.
He was not. Your version of the truth about MSG was so well put and argued and from the standpoint of science and common sense (ironically two of the ingredients in what has become the safest food system in the world, though you wouldn't know it via Atkins and company).

i purchased an aquarain water filter system approx 7 weeks ago when i came to alaska. i had heard that the water in the small town i was in was really bad. the water here in the town of bethel is trucked in and put in individual tanks. the tanks where i was assigned were uncovered and always had various " floaties" in the tank. the water from the tank was always filtered through the aquarain. recently we moved to another area of town that has cleaner tanks and
the water delivered is filtered through ozone systems. when moving i cleaned out the filter system. there was an unbelieveable amount of " crud" on the filters and the bottom of the top part of the system. when cleaning out the bottom part the towels came out clean without any trace of visible impurities. i am very grateful for this sytem and the fast and efficient delivery from your company. thanks again.

again i need to tell you about the aquarain water purifier system. Recently while entertaining a guest they asked for water. Of course we served water from the aquarain purifier since the water here is loaded with iron and other impurities (some i think they are unable to identify).
She told us that that was really good water. What she said was to take a taste of the tap water and be sure to spit it out and then take a taste of this water from the aquarain and its like the difference between night and day.

I found a use for the No Rinse shampoo that you haven't mentioned! I brought part of an 8 oz. bottle home when I was discharged from the hospital. It sat around for a while, and one day it was raining and my big coon-hound dog's coat was reeking to high heaven. He had needed a bath in the worst way for a couple of weeks. I saw the bottle of shampoo and thought, " What the heck?" So I poured what was left in dabs down the middle of his back & started lathering it
up. Before long " Oso" was smelling as good as if he'd just been to Bowzer Baths in Boulder Creek, CA where we live. Thanks for carrying this great product. I have been looking for it all over and can't find it any place. Most sell it with garlic and I don't want it with garlic. I give it to my dogs and they do not like it with garlic.
Also I want to thank you for having Diatomaceous Earth. I got some from you last year and my dogs are doing great being on it, and it helped so much with the flea problem last year. I don't prefer chemicals and this product helped a great deal.
Some of my dogs have put on weight and are doing much better being on it.

This evening we tried the first can of the Sample Pack. It was
the can of Pork.
Problems:
1. My electric can opener would not reach into the depressed
lid.
2. My hand can opener would not open the can either.
3. I had to take a large butcher knife and cut open the lid.
4. When opened, I noticed the meat swimming in juice. So I
decided to measure that juice.
To my amazement, I poured out a full 1 and 1/2 cups of
juice. I didn't pay for juice...I
paid for meat.
5. In your advertisements it indicated that the pork could be
sliced. Not so, the meat was in small chunks, as if it had
been crumbled before packing.
6. The meat did not taste like pork at all, but tasted,
suspiciously like TUNA. Though I know
it was not tuna, your canning operators may have processed
tuna prior to processing the
pork and failed to clean the canning mechanisms before doing
the pork. I have been in
canning plants for more than 35 years and I know how it
could have happened, but your
quality control inspectors should have caught that.
All in all, your PORK product gave us a terrible experience. I
have not opened any of the other
meat samples yet, but if they are anything like your touted pork,
I will NOT be putting your
product in food storage. I certainly will not buy your pork
again.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with our canned pork. Out of
curiosity, I opened a small can and poured out the liquid (which
comes out of the meat during the cooking process, NO liquid is
added. The meat is hand-packed raw and is cooked in the can.).
Mine was about 3 1/2 ounces.
To further the experiment, I then measured 1 1/2 cups of water in
a measuring cup and poured it back into the empty can. It left
only about 1/2 inch of space for meat. The amount of juice that
you claim to have measured is just not possible.
Taste is a personal thing, so I cannot address the tuna-taste.
It certainly doesn't taste that way to us! The things that I DO
know are
1. Our meat cannery does NOT can fish of ANY kind,
2. The canning equipment is used for ONE meat-type per day,
3. The canning equipment is washed, rinsed and sanitized each
evening.
No cannery EVER switches from one meat to another without
washing,
rinsing and sanitizing their equipment. If they did, the USDA
would yank their canning license quicker than you could say, "My
pork tastes like tuna."
You misread my write-up on the canned meats, regarding "slicing".
I wrote, "I cut through the extraordinarily tender piece of loin
with my fork and bit in..."

meats needs a knife to cut through, and that was the point of that
sentence.
But, you do bring up an oversight on my part. That paragraph
and picture applied to pork loin, a product that is no longer
produced by a company that's no longer in business. (That
write-up is from 1998 or so.) I need to annotate that and retake
the photo.
Lastly, we've never had a problem opening any cans that we've
tried to open, both with a hand and an electric can opener. Which
brings up another issue ... how did you keep the pork juices from
splattering all over the kitchen opening the can with a knife??
I suspect there's something else behind your rant, but again, I
apologize for your unhappiness with our meat. You're the
first....

We never, EVER, ship dented cans unless someone orders them. UPS often causes internal damage because they literally THROW boxes down their truck-loading lines when they have a jam on the conveyor belt. (I have a friend who is a UPS supervisor who described this behavior to me.)
If a box lands squarely on any side, and not on a corner, damage such as you describe can--and does--occur. It
all depends on how the box is hurled.
BTW, I work parttime for a company that refurbishes uninterruptible power supplies. They have the EXACT same internal damage problem with their UPS'd UPSs. United Parcel Service has never failed to pay a claim.
Had you reported the damage to UPS, they would've paid us for the damaged product, and we would have shipped you another case. UPS usually doesn't pick up damaged product, so you would have ended up with two cases for the price of one. (I'm not trying to defraud UPS here, I'm merely relating what they've not done historically, both with us and with the UPS refurbishers.)
I can't stop you from slandering us, but just be aware that you are *dead* wrong. If we shipped pre-dented cans, we wouldn't have them for sale, or sell them. Think about it!

When you discovered the damaged case of cheese, Phyllis asked you
to put in a damage claim with UPS, REFUSE the damaged shipment and
have it sent back to us. (That way, UPS would've reimbursed us for
the damage they caused and we would have sent you a new case of
cheese.)
Rather than do that YOU CHOSE to call UPS and told them that we
shipped you pre-damaged product. So they denied our claim.
WE DO NOT EVER SHIP PRE-DAMAGED CANS OF ANYTHING unless someone
orders them from our Dented Can Sale Page to sample our products
on the cheap.
UPS can be very hard on our shipments, and I have even seen cans
come out dented from boxes that showed no external damage. (When a
UPS conveyor belt jams up, or packages pile up and don't move
toward the waiting trucks, the workers LITERALLY throw packages
over the jam to keep the trucks loading. I have that information
from a man I used to work with who is now a supervisor at the UPS
terminal in Terrell, Texas.)
In spite of your not following Phyllis' request, we refunded your
money (less shipping and the 15% restocking fee which is stated
clearly on our website) and took the loss ourselves.
If anyone would like to discuss this first-hand, I invite you to

The word used in Genesis 1, "yom" means a day (24 hour period). The verse "a day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day" used by many evolutionists, does not alter the meaning of the word DAY in Gen. 1 and does not apply to it. Every Israelite who read those verses (pre-Darwin, et al.) knew that God created the world in 6 days.
You also may not be aware of the construction of the Hebrew in Gen 1. It literally reads: "Light be, light was." The English translation does not convey the power and suddenness of those verses. (The same construction holds for the other days of Creation.)
Moses CLEARLY states in Exodus 20, "For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them..."
Jesus, who was crucified and rose from the dead (as He predicted) says that "God CREATED them male and female" which--even ignoring ALL the other clear Biblical statements--puts the stamp of authenticity on creation.
Nothing was created "out of thin air" . There was no air. Not only did God create the world/universe, He created light (different from sunlight), space, time, heaven (non-matter), and matter.
I suggest you find a Hebrew interlinear Old Testament and re-read Gen. 1. There's NO WAY you will come away believing it leaves ANY room for evolution.
Evolutionists MUST cling to their fairy tales so they have no One to whom to answer.
Submission to God and His sacrificial Son, Jesus Christ, destroys man's pride ... and we proud sinners "CAN'T" have THAT!

Sorry, "dmcw5", but I don't believe you. You don't have the guts to leave your name, so I think you're either a competitor who's trying a lame psy-ops, or a liberal who hates truth and those who seek it.
If there's ONE thing we strive to do on our website, it's to get to the TRUTH ... and the LACK of truth in American politics today is one of the reasons we started this business 13 years ago.
We don't MAKE potential customers read our "political crap" (nor the pages about our religious beliefs, which some gripe about on forums, but don't have the courage to write ME about). It's YOUR choice to go to those pages ... and your reaction to them reveals a lot about you and your character.
If you don't believe there are problems in the US today (i.e., our "political crap") that make "getting prepared" a worthy thing to do, then I don't think you're going to buy ANY preparedness products from ANYONE. And--to be truthful--I more treasure business from truth-seekers, even though that may cost us business from people of your mind-set.
My best guess is that your REAL name is Steve....
