Revised June 13, 2008
Sometimes Sold Out! Please check for availability.
UPS is awfully hard on our shipments. (I have it first-hand from one of their warehouse supervisors that, when a conveyor belt gets jammed and packages stop moving, the line workers literally throw boxes down the line as hard as they can to keep loading the trucks ...) This results in a percentage of our Real Canned Meats, Real Canned Cheese and Real Canned Butter cans getting dented and being returned to us by customers. (NOTE: If this happens to your order, contact us before returning product! A claim must be put in with UPS. Do NOT just automaticaly return the product!)

Until now, we've been eating the damage (literally!). We'll open a dented can of meat a couple of times a week to have for dinner. There's always an open dented can of butter on our counter. That's a good thing for us, but--unfortunately--UPS damages cans of meat, cheese and butter faster than we can eat them!

Period.
So, we decided to make these dented cans available to you so you can sample our products and save some money. But there are a few catches:
You cannot claim shipping damage with UPS. These are "pre-dented" cans.
- There is a strict limit of 2 cans of any one dented product (so you can share-a-can with Aunt Annie)
- We may not have the product you're wanting to try. UPS doesn't always damage everything....)
- All dented cans are sold AS IS, no returns are allowed.
- You need to call us (903-356-6443) or
( txfooddude AT internet-grocer.net ) for availability of the dented-can products you want to try.
So, if you can live with those stipulations, here's a way you can save some money:
Regular Price Dented Can Price Beef with Broth 8.60 6.95 Hamburger w/ Natural Juices 6.20 4.95 Boneless Chicken with Broth 8.55
6.95 Tender Turkey with Broth 7.25
6.15 Tender Pork with Broth 7.90 6.95
Kraft Canned Cheese 3.50 2.60
Real Canned Butter 4.99 3.99
Shipping will be added to your dented-can order. We will email your total for your approval before entering your order.
Just to clarify, we've been eating foods from these dented cans for a long time and we have never found bad food in them. I wouldn't be afraid of them at all. Nevertheless, we have to sell them AS IS with no returns allowed. If the cans are too severely dented to be opened, we WON'T ship them to you. We only sell cans with minor dents.
We stock these dented cans in Quinlan. When we have them, if you're in the area, you may come by and pick them up to save shipping/handling. Just call first.
