Freeze Dried One Year Food Supply

This package is designed for 1 person for one year. It can also be used by 2 people for 6 months, or by 4 people for 3 months, or in other combinations, depending on your needs and budget.

Beware of less expensive units that contain a lot of cheap grains, rice, sugar, flour, salt and beans. You risk suffering from appetite fatigue (starving while surrounded by food your body refuses to go on eating). The variety in our unit is unmatched . . . . especially at this price!  Also, beware of other companies offering "free" shipping. They build the cost of shipping into the food price. Shipping ain't cheap these days, and you pay for it one way or another.

These foods are packed in cases. There are 6 #10 (Number 10) cans (almost a gallon in size) per case.

Each can comes with a lid.  (We recommend buying a dozen or so extra lids to allow for breakage.)  If you drink coffee, the coffee can lids will fit. The large size is a #10.

Most of these foods are FREEZE DRIED, and--for the most part--all you need to prepare a meal is add boiling water.  Freeze dried foods generally have a shelf life of 25 years or more.  (Truth be told, so do dehydrated foods ... and even store-bought canned goods will last for decades.  See http://www.internet-grocer.net/how-long.htm)

A lot of other preparedness sites sell you some of the following items packed for long-term storage ... and they're not needed packed so expensively.  Many of them'll store "forever" if you pack them in jars.  (See why you love us?  We save you money!  We're the only company that tells you this.)

Get LOADS of Ball or Mason jars with lids and bands.  Into these put:

Plain Salt
Iodized Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Brown Sugar
Baking Powder
Baking Soda
Cornstarch
Herbs and Spices that you like and use
Powdered Mustard
Yeast
Multi-Vitamins

Try to get the following in glass containers:
Honey
Corn Syrup
Maple Syrup
Vanilla Extract
Other Flavored Extracts that you like
White Vinegar
Apple Cider Vinegar
Mustard
Ketchup (or Catsup)
Salad Dressings
Pickles
Olives
BBQ Sauce
Soy Sauce
Sweet and Sour Sauce
Any Hot Sauces you like and use
Fish Sauce, if you like and use it

Other than that, browse YOUR pantry for what you currently eat.
