Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them. Proverbs 28:4
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman that is detestable. Leviticus 18:22
If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death their blood will be on their own heads. Leviticus 20:13
(King James Version) There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a Sodomite of the sons of Israel. Deuteronomy 23:17
The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. "My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning."
"No,"
they answered, "we will spend the night in the square." But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered into his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."
Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof."
"Get out of our way," they replied. And they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We'll treat you worse than them. "They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door. But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
The two men said to Lot, "Do you have anyone else here--sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the Lord against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it." Genesis 19:1-13
That evening an old man from the hill country of Ephraim, who was living in Gibeah . . . came in from his work in the fields. When he looked and saw the traveler in the city square, the old man asked, "Where are you going? Where did you come from?" He answered, "We are on our way from Bethlehem in Judah to a remote area in the hill country of Ephraim where I live. I have been to Bethlehem in Judah and now I am going to the house of the Lord. No one has taken me into his house." ..."You are welcome at my house," the old man said. ...
While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him." The owner of the house went outside and said to them, "No, my friends, don't be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don't do this disgraceful thing." ... 19:16-23
The look on their faces testifies against them they parade their sin like Sodom they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Isaiah 3:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Romans 1:22-27
We also know that law is made not for good men but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for adulterers and perverts (KJV, them that defile them- selves with mankind), for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God ... 1 Timothy 1:9-10
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Jude 7

Regardless of the marches, the speeches, the lobbying, the picketing, the media exposure, the (so-called) logic or reasoning, the homosexual lifestyle is unacceptable to God. These Bible verses are clear. If America is to avoid destruction such as that suffered by Sodom and Gomorrah, the homosexual lifestyle must stop. The homosexual must repent along with the murderer, the thief, the adulterer, the fornicator, the blasphemer, the drunkard, the swindler, the prostitute, and all other sinners. No one is saying, no one is advocating, no one is even hinting that we return to the Old Testament days of putting homosexuals to death. That attitude is absolutely unchristian and can no more be tolerated than the sin of homosexuality. We are to love the person and hate the sin.
Nevertheless, homosexuals are listed among "the wicked" of 1 Corinthians 6:9 who will NOT inherit the kingdom of God. Homosexuality is not a sickness, it is not an alternate lifestyle, it is not "in the genes" , it is not "O.K. as long as it is practiced by consenting adults behind closed doors" . God calls it wickedness and sin. The word "sodomy" lives on to attest to it: A city destroyed because of rampant homosexuality.

"Christian support of same-sex marriage thus can end a hypocritical position of the Church and give the Church more relevance to contemporary society."
This must be the Biblical "majority rule" commandment. This was, I guess, the commandment written in small print on the back of the tablet that says, "If the majority of my children think I'm wrong, I must be wrong." Idiots believe that if a majority of people don't think sin is sin, they are excused. I am sick of the idiots who believe because the moral tone of contemporary society is changing that sin is suddenly rendered not sin. God has not changed His mind from the beginning of time, and now that the sand is rapidly running out of the hourglass, what we are seeing is the normalization of abomination . . . precisely what mankind experienced in the five cities of the plains when Noah began building the Ark, and what Abraham argued with the angel about trying to save not only Lot and his family, but those residents of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zoar and Zeboiim whom he believed had to be innocent.
However, GOD BELIEVED THAT THOSE WHO CONDONED HOMOSEXUALITY WERE AS GUILTY AS THOSE WHO PERFORMED IT, and thus when He condemned those who practiced sodomy, He also condemned those who sanctioned it by not protesting against it.
He did that in the five cities in the plains . . . and He did that, universally, during the Flood. Do you think it will be any different this time?
