Freeze dried foods is one of the ONLY ways to get infinitely storable meats (other than dehydrated jerkies, some of which are loaded with salt--not ours, of course!  Our canned meats will store 5+ years.). Freeze dried foods will last 20-35 years in cans and 5 or more years in a pouch. (We have learned from actual experience that mice can chew through the pouches and destroy your food storage. If you can place the pouches in, say, metal trash cans with lids, they'll be OK.)

We offer FREE SHIPPING for orders of $95 or more for Mountain House products (only). Your online order will be adjusted manually when it reaches $95+. If your order is less than $95, we will contact you with the shipping charges for your approval.

Entrees, vegetables and eggs are pre-cooked and ready to eat in less than 10 minutes. Just add boiling water. Cans store for 15-20 years. Pouches store for 5 years. Avoid temperatures above 90 F.
