My taste buds are still trying to recover!

Really.  

I'm a big fan of Glenn Beck and one of his advertisers is Allen Brother's Steaks.  Well, coincidentally, I ordered some Allen Brother's steaks, which arrived a week before our Best Prices Signature Steaks^tm got here.  I was impressed with the Allen Brother's product....  They're great pieces of meat!  But today we got in OUR Best Prices Signature Steaks^tm.  (Look, if you've got an extra hundred bucks to spare for a couple of Allen Brother's steaks, go spend it.  We've got NO grudge against their product.)

I'm still quivering with excitement about our lower-priced, restaurant-quality steaks!

I bought the Allen Bros. steaks without telling Phyllis.  (BIG mistake!)  After she ate them, she never really said she even liked them.  (I loved them!)  She might have been in shell-shock over the price....

Our Best Prices Signature Steaks^tm are less than half price of theirs, and--within a tenth-of-a-point of being--just as good!. I'm giving Allen Brothers the "advantage tenth-of-a-point" because of their reputation. If you have the money, do a side-by-side comparison, and please send your results to us and we'll post them, whether "for us" or "against us".  (If you don't believe we'll do that, see our Customers Are Saying page.  We tell BOTH sides there, too.)

The trial steaks got here Friday, June 6 (2008), at about 4 pm.  My first thought was, "Good heavens, they didn't need to send us half of the cow!"  They were HUGE!  We got 4 ribeyes, one pound 2 ounces each (!), and 4 tenderloin fillets, ten ounces each (I weighed them).  I kept bugging Phyllis to cook them 'cause I couldn't wait.  She put two ribeyes on the outdoor grill.  We split one (could only eat half of that half, each) and Allie ate half of one and took the other half home to her husband.

As soon as I tasted my first bite, I said, "I'm in!  We're selling these!!"  

Phyllis said, "I like these!"  (Mind you, after her basic no comment at the twice-as-expensive Allen Bros. steaks....)  

Now, about Allison.  She came in from the warehouse after helping to box 98 packages for shipment that day.  She was tired!  I invited her to sit down and try her steak.  She wouldn't.  She stood at the counter and devoured her half of the ribeye.  She did stop long enough to say, "This is great!"

Sunday morning Phyllis fixed (the tenderloin fillet) Steak and Eggs (from our free range chickens) and said, "Now that's a steak!"  Yup, we have a winner.  (You might have read on other pages that Phyllis is a former country club restaurant manager.  She knows food!)

We're really pleased to find this meat company and be able to offer you fresh restaurant-quality steaks, delivered to your door.  These are better quality than the meats you buy at the grocery store.  The best cuts of meat are held back for restaurant use.  THESE ARE WHAT THE BEST RESTAURANTS GET!
